Lion and Water Lily

This is a lion I drew in my online art class. My teacher's name is Miss Theresa. I used oil pastels to draw the lion. I learned about drawing textures, like fur.

This is a water lily I drew in my favorite color. My favorite color is blue. My favorite part about drawing this was drawing the petals because I learned something new.

Walking at the beach

We went to the beach for mommy and daddy's anniversary. We walked to the pier where nana nancy and grandpa took me. We watched people fish. I wished on a star. I wished for a happy family, a kind heart, and loving parents. My wish came true.

Monkey, cat, and two sheep

This is a monkey and a cat watching TV. They are talking about eating chestnuts and penny loaves.

A French writer named Jean de La Fontaine wrote about the monkey and the cat. Mr. de La Fontaine was a fable writer.

A monkey and a cat once lived together in the same house. Both of them were mischievous. If something went missing in the house, their master would say that one of them had taken it. One day, the monkey and the cat watched delicious chestnuts roasting in the fireplace. Those chestnuts smell very tasty, said monkey to cat. Wouldn't they make a nice snack for us?, said monkey

Yes, replied cat. And what a good trick to play on our master. When he comes back to eat them, there won't be any left!

Friend cat, said monkey. You are much braver than I. You are so brave, I am sure you could reach into the fireplace and grab enough for both of us to enjoy.

The cat was pleased to hear monkey say he was so brave. Without thinking, he reached his paw into the fireplace and snatched several chestnuts.

Owwww screeched cat, grabbing the chestnuts out of the fireplace and dropping them on the floor.
Then monkey cracked the shells open and gobbled the kernels. Then a servant came into the room. The two friends escaped through the door.

Monkey gleefully licked his lips, but cat only licked his aching paw.

The moral of this story is think before you act!

This is a plain sheep walking in a meadow. He's going to a restaurant to eat dinner.

This is a sheep with a pointy hat, sunglasses, and a stinky orange sock. He's going to his friend's happy party. Friends are the presents because friends are more fun than presents.

Piano Time

Piano is fun to learn. I like the songs. I am learning radesky march and the Olympic fanfare song.

I practice in the night time before bed.

I like my teacher. His name is Ryan.

Sometimes I do recitals and earn music badges.
